Let’s Make Our 50th Reunion a Reality for All!

As plans for our 50th reunion come together, the committee agreed on one thing from the start: this reunion is about bringing classmates together. We want to ensure that every classmate who wants to attend has the opportunity to do so.

We know the cost of attending our other reunions was a factor for some. To help, we’re taking a page from several LHS classes that successfully organized their 50th Reunions before us. They rallied their classmates through a fundraising effort and used those funds to lower the ticket price for everyone.

Now it’s our turn. Let’s see what the Class of 1977 can do when we come together.

The reality is that putting on a reunion of this scale will cost approximately $25,000–$30,000, depending on attendance and final expenses.

And thanks to the generosity of our reunion committee and a few others, we have already raised $3,000 toward that cost. We’re off to a good start.

You may be wondering what donation amount makes sense. That’s a personal decision only you can make. Whatever you choose to give, every contribution will directly impact the ticket price.

This effort is entirely voluntary. There is no expectation to give, and contributions will remain strictly confidential.

Additionally, if you or your business would like to sponsor a portion of the reunion — such as the DJ, photography or another event expense — we’d also love to hear from you.
