After graduating from high school, I attended Syracuse University, where I earned a degree in Business. Following graduation, I moved to New York City and spent seven exciting years living and working in the Garment Center. Those years helped shape my strong work ethic, independence, and appreciation for the energy and opportunities that city life offers.
After leaving Manhattan, I moved to New Jersey, where I married and built a life in Bergen County. During my career, I worked for a wholesale floral company that supplied flowers to retailers and wholesalers throughout the region. The experience allowed me to develop lasting business relationships and provided the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and creative industry. And when I say “fast-paced, I really mean fast-paced. Flowers, by their nature, do not have a long shelf life so each day, we would have a finite supply and the total amount was posted on a big board in the office. So, if I sold 100 dozen of, let’s say roses, I had to then RUN (yes, RUN!) to the board and record my sale because if I delayed, someone else might have made a sale and sold my 100 dozen right out from under me.
I am the proud mother of three wonderful children, who have always been the center of my life and my greatest source of pride. Balancing family and career taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of cherishing life’s meaningful moments.
Over the years, I have experienced many changes, challenges, and accomplishments, each contributing to the person I am today. Through every chapter, I have remained grateful for the support of family, friends, and the opportunities that have come my way. There is no doubt that friends and my sisters, Mona and Jodi, have been foundational pillars as I have navigated life’s challenges and rewards.
Today, I find myself entering one of the most exciting and joyful periods of my life. In April 2026, I had the privilege of celebrating my daughter’s wedding in beautiful Aspen, Colorado, surrounded by family and lifelong friends. Adding to that joy, I am eagerly anticipating the arrival of my first grandchild this September. These milestones make this year especially meaningful and promise to make it one of the happiest and most memorable times of my life.
Looking back, from my years at Syracuse University and in New York City to building a family and life in New Jersey, I am grateful for every experience that has shaped my journey. I look forward to sharing photos that capture these special moments, the people I cherish, and the path that has brought me to where I am today.
