September 2026 Update
Hotel: You can find information regarding booking rooms at the Hyatt Regency at Hotel Details – Livingston High School Class of 1977. Interested people are encouraged to book rooms as soon as possible to avoid being shut out. The hotel is a large, but Morristown in a hopping area and there could be other events at the hotel or in the area.
August 2026 Update
- Again, please save the date on your calendar for Saturday, September 18, 2027 at the Hyatt Regency in Morristown, New Jersey. You can also use the QR code below to add it to your e-calendar automatically.
- In August of 2026 (this month), we will provide a code for the courtesy block of hotel rooms at the Hyatt Regency. There is a limited number of rooms in the courtesy block so acting early to reserve your room is recommended once the code is available. The hotel has plenty of rooms (no worry there) but early reservations are a good bet.
- The Reunion Committees is working with a set-up timetable to complete specific task and as of June 30th has completed all the time sensitive steps required up to that point. The work of the committee will continue right up until the events.
- It is anticipated that by early February 2027, we have all the data needed to establish the ticket price and begin registering for the September 2027 reunion.
June 2026 Update
This is a re-creation of one or two conversations I have a month:
Unnamed Classmate: “When is the reunion?”
Me: (rolling my eyes): “September 18, 2027 at 7:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency is Morristown.”

May 2026 Update #2
Today, we are pleased to share some information about where the main reunion event is being held and include a few pictures of the area. The Hyatt Regency in Morristown, formerly the Headquarters Plaza hotel, has opened a new area called the “Washington Concourse” which is immediately adjacent to the main lobby of the hotel. From the hotel website: A brand-new, fully renovated concourse designed for connection and convenience. This fully furnished space features a built-in bar, stylish lounge seating, and an open layout ideal for group meals, receptions, and gatherings.
Also attached (below) are several pictures from a prior event which gives a general sense of the area and demonstrates that the Reunion will be in a fun, relaxed and casual environment. This is very consistent with the results from the survey conducted in 2024.

May 2026 Update
We are just over a year and a half away from celebrating our 50th Reunion from Livingston High School in September 2027. There are not many things that most of us can celebrate 50 years of doing, but being a high school graduate is one of them! So, in preparation, a superlative committee has been established and is well underway with planning, and with pleasure, are introduced below:

Also, if you have an interest in perhaps coordinating and/or planning an ancillary activity for the Reunion Weekend, such as (strictly for examples), a golf outing on Friday or Saturday, Pickleball activity, a tour of Morristown or even painting the rock on Laurel Avenue, the Press Box at the Football field or “77” on the high school roof, please feel free to reach out to the Committee. Ideas and suggestions for other events are also welcome.
The main event for the 50th Reunion will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2027 at 7:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency in Morristown (which some may remember as the Headquarters Plaza Hotel). April 2026 Update
Some quick-updates:
- The Reunion will be Saturday, September 18, 2027 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Morristown, New Jersey. Please mark your calendars.
- The Reunion Committee (which will be announced soon) has been active getting things planned.
- Additional activities for the weekend are being considered and developed. Have a thought? Send it!
- The hotel will provide a block of rooms and special rate. That information will be available in September 2026 and will be published.
December 2025 Update
The reunion will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Morristown, New Jersey. There will be a block of rooms provided with a rate discount. The hotel will provide that information in August 2026.
November 2025 Update
Last month, we announced the date – Saturday, September 18, 2027 at the Hyatt Regency in Morristown. Be sure to mark the date and please inform any of your children that are planning marriages and/or births, that September 2027 is not a good month for you – you are going to be busy.
More information on the event will come in the future. There will be a discount code for reserving hotel rooms at the Hyatt and when we have that in hand, it will be provided. And as a reminder, there is a page on the website that will have all pertinent updates and information. (50th Reunion – Livingston High School Class of 1977).
October 2025 – Reunion Date Announced!
Yes! We have a date: September 18, 2027 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Morristown, New Jersey. More information will be forthcoming but it’s not too early to mark your calendar. The Reunion Steering Committee and Program Activity Committees will be hard at work during 2026 putting this event together for all to enjoy.
